Becoming a member or renewing your membership

Anyone who wishes to join Straw Craftsmen may become a member upon completion of a membership form and payment of the subscription for the current membership year.

The Straw Craftsmen membership year runs from 1st June to 31st May.

We have members all over the UK as well as from other countries and by becoming a member you can find out and get involved with what is going on in the straw world.

The Straw Craftsmen Magazine

The StrawCraftsmen magazine is free to all members of Straw Craftsmen. There are two issues per year, published in the Spring and the Autumn to keep members in touch with each other and informed on what is happening in the straw world. These contain interesting articles on straw work in the UK and other countries, features on straw workers past and present, topical subjects, historical notes, news of exhibitions and courses, and much more.

There is also the Straw Craftsmen Summer Update and Straw Craftsmen Winter Update. These updates are mainly administration and show any updates to Straw Workshops and weekends as well as general administration.

How to join or renew your membership

1. Complete a membership form

Fill in the membership form below, click on "Submit" and it will be emailed to our Membership Secretary. We will be in touch with you shortly once we've processed your membership.

Alternatively, download and complete a postal membership form – you will find it in the Postal Membership Form section below.

2. Pay the subscription

You can pay quickly and easily via PayPal below.

- or to pay by BAC's send an email to treasurer@strawcraftsmen.co.uk for bank details and send your membership form separately

- or send a cheque payable to Straw Craftsmen to the membership secretary with your postal application form
